The creators make the work. We’ll handle the rest.
Sri Lanka has no shortage of talent. What it’s short of is the structure around it: credits that stick, deals on paper, and a way to be found. This is what Kuvera Digitals is building, and why.

Chapter 1

Nisal Gamage wrote the lyrics, Dinesh Gamage the melody. Amith Guru handled the music, mix and master. Musicians, a director, a camera and editing team, makeup artists, cast and production crew brought it to life.
The official video names its crew. ColLabz takes that credit further: onto each person’s page, into a searchable body of work, and towards the next job. A name in a description can become a career people can find.

Ownership agreement
Example to-do: attach the agreement behind the recording ownership.
Most music deals in Sri Lanka are a message and a thumbs-up. Who wrote what, who owns the recording, whether the session players agreed: it holds until the song starts earning. Then everyone remembers it differently. A friendship ends, a song comes down, and nobody can prove what was agreed.
The law isn’t the problem. Sri Lanka’s Intellectual Property Act is clear about who owns what. What’s missing is the paperwork, done at the time, by people who’d rather be making music. And so it doesn’t get done.
Chapter 3
What we believe
- Everyone who made it gets the credit.
- A deal should be written down before it’s worth fighting over.
- Being good should be enough to get found.
- Creators should spend their time creating.
Everything we build comes from those four lines. ColLabz exists for the first and the third. Rights OS exists for the second. The fourth is the reason for all of it.

From idea to income
How it goes today
A voice note on one person’s phone. The right collaborator is whoever is already in their contacts.

Rights OS: splits each writer confirms, a recording owner on record, consent from every performer, agreements signed.
How it goes today
Credits wrong or missing on the platforms. Nobody can show who owns what.
How it goes with us
Release-ready in Rights OS, with clean credits and a chain-of-title certificate. Kuvera can prepare and hand off the release.
How it goes today
Boost a post and hope. The crew gets nothing from the song’s success.

Kuvera’s marketing team runs the campaign. Every confirmed credit lands on the crew’s ColLabz pages, so the song’s success becomes theirs too.

Mage Duwe, stop 1 of 7
No one company has to do all of this, and we don’t try to. ColLabz and Rights OS are the tools that hold it together. Kuvera’s people fill the gaps, for creators who would rather hand them over. You can use one piece or all of them.
Chapter 5
The loop
The more work goes through ColLabz, the better it gets at the thing this industry is worst at: knowing who did what.
Every confirmed credit makes someone easier to find. Every hire made through ColLabz is another song with clean paperwork. Nobody has to keep a portfolio up to date, because the work does it for them.
Chapter 6
Being good should be enough
In Sri Lanka, brands and agencies pick creators by follower count and word of mouth. That rewards whoever is loudest, and it misses the cinematographer behind three of this year’s most-shared videos.

ColLabz Scout ranks creators by what they’ve made and how far it travelled: credited work first, reach second, role by role. A rising mixing engineer is as easy to find as a rising singer. Rates and availability help the right people match, and the creator decides what is shown.
Chapter 7
Starting with Sri Lankan music
We’re starting with Sri Lankan music because a song brings together the wider creative community: writers, musicians, producers, directors, camera crews, editors, designers and makeup artists. Each person contributes to the work, and each needs a way to carry that contribution into their career.
That is why we are building ColLabz and Rights OS together. ColLabz connects the work to the people who made it, helping them build portfolios and be found for their next project. Rights OS gives rights owners a place to record ownership, agree shares and prepare the agreements and licences around that work.
For Kuvera Digitals, the aim is practical: make it easier to organise a project, recognise the people involved and manage what happens after release. The creative team should be able to spend more of its time making the next thing.
Chapter 8
What comes next
- ColLabz pages, works, bookings and shops for every creative role
- Rights OS for songs: splits, recordings, consent, agreements and proof
- ColLabz Scout opens to brands, agencies, labels and producers
- Credits that move between ColLabz pages as collaborators confirm them
- Licensing for covers, sync and samples through Rights OS
- Registration with collecting societies from Rights OS data
- Rights OS for films, photography, design and writing: any work where several people own a part
We’re starting with music because one song brings together more people than almost anything else, and very few of them are credited. What works for a song will work for a film, a campaign or a book.
Chapter 9
Who we are
Kuvera Digitals is a Colombo company building the business infrastructure around creative work. We make the tools, and we have the people: production, marketing, rights and publishing, for creators who’d rather hand those over.
ColLabz is the network. Rights OS is the record. Kuvera Publishing looks after writers who sign with it. All three exist so that the people who make the work can stay focused on making it.
