Privacy
ColLabz is not open yet. The only thing this site collects is the whitelist form — so this page is mostly about that one form, and it says exactly what the code does rather than what a policy template would.

Who this is
ColLabz is built by Kuvera Digitals, in Colombo, Sri Lanka. We decide what happens to the information on this page, which under Sri Lanka’s Personal Data Protection Act No. 9 of 2022 makes us the controller of it.
For anything on this page, including a request to see or delete what we hold, write to hello@collabz.net.
What the whitelist form collects
Everything here comes from the whitelist form. Nothing on this site asks you for anything else, and there is no account to create yet.
- About you
- Your name and email address, which are required. Phone number, date of birth, gender and city, which are not — you can send the form without any of them. Country, which the form defaults to Sri Lanka.
- About your work
- The roles you pick and which one is primary, your skills (including any you type in yourself), languages, years of experience, and — if you selected an audio role — whether you have a home studio or work in Dolby Atmos.
- How you work
- The kinds of work you take, whether you work remotely, on site, in a studio or at a client’s place, whether you are open to work, what you are available and interested in, whether you take paid work only, and the rate band you give.
- Your links
- Any social or portfolio links you add, and the four declarations you tick at the end.
Why we ask
To decide who gets invited in each wave, and to email you when your spot comes up. That is the whole purpose. We ask under your consent, which you give by ticking the declarations and sending the form, and which you can withdraw at any time by asking us to delete your answers.
Your answers also shape what gets built first — which roles the product supports, which kinds of work it has to handle. That happens by reading the answers in aggregate, not by singling anyone out.
What we don’t do
- We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.
- We do not show your answers publicly. Nothing you put in the form appears anywhere on this site.
- We do not advertise to you, and there are no advertising or tracking cookies on this site.
- We do not use your answers to make an automated decision about you. A person reads them.
Who else touches it
We keep this list short on purpose, and it is the real list — these are the services the site actually runs on.
- Vercel
- Hosts and serves the site. Sees the ordinary request information any web server sees, including your IP address.
- Aiven
- Runs the PostgreSQL database your answers are stored in, hosted in the European Union.
- Resend
- Sends the one thank-you email you get after submitting. Receives your name and email address to do it.
- Umami
- Counts page views on the public pages. It is cookieless, does not follow you between sites, and never sees the whitelist form’s contents. We also record that a submission happened, without attaching it to anything about you.
Because Aiven hosts the database in the EU and Vercel and Resend operate internationally, your information is processed outside Sri Lanka.
How long we keep it
24 months from the day you send the form, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. If you are invited and become a ColLabz user, your answers carry over into your account and are kept while that account exists.
What you can ask for
Under the PDPA you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it — and you can withdraw the consent you gave when you sent the form. Email hello@collabz.net from the address you used on the form and we will do it. There is no charge, and we will come back to you within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle it, you can complain to Sri Lanka’s Data Protection Authority.
Keeping it safe
The site is served over HTTPS, the connection to the database is encrypted, and the only people who can read whitelist answers are the ColLabz team members on an explicit allowlist, who sign in with Google to do it. No method of storing information is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise.
Age
The whitelist is for people aged 16 and over. The form does not check this, so if you believe someone younger has sent us their information, email hello@collabz.net and we will delete it.
Changes to this page
ColLabz is being built, so this page will change as the product does — when it collects something new, this page says so before it does. Material changes are emailed to everyone on the whitelist. The date at the top is the last time anything here changed.
